Enlighten™ uses a proprietary lighting gel and a special tray customised from an impression of your mouth.
How does the process work?
Your dentist will first assess your teeth and gums to insure suitability for whitening treatment.
If any issues arise, such as a cavity, those issues must be addressed first before starting the Enlighten™ Evolution process.
What home-care procedures do I need to follow?
You dentist will provide you with your customised tray along with a supply of Enlighten™ Evolution whitening gel. You will apply the gel to the tray and wear it at night like you would a mouthguard for 14 nights.
Your dentist will also provide you with a special Enlighten™ toothpaste to use before, during and after treatment.
What happens at the end of the two weeks?
After wearing the trays for 14 nights, you will return to your dentist for a follow-up exam. During this appointment, your dentist will apply an Enlighten™ finishing treatment to complete the process.
